January 2, 1938 - June 2, 2021 Mark passed away peacefully at Seacrest Village in Encinitas, CA. He was born in Milwaukee, WI, to Byron and Florence Ramenofsky, grew up in Chicago Heights, IL and moved to California in 1952. Mark graduated from Montebello High School and attended UCLA. He joined his father in business at Mark Steven, men's clothing, in Riverside. He found his way to San Diego, where he opened Island Hoppers in La Jolla and Seaport Village. Mark was a loving and devoted husband and father to wife Rhoda; children Brent (Monique) Ramenofsky and Julie (John) Wagner. He was a proud and energetic grandfather to Sydney and Michael Ramenofsky and Faith and Cole Wagner. He had a special relationship with his brother, Steven (Catherine) Ramenofsky and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
