Obituary for Louise Green (Belsky)
Louise Green (Belsky), [89], of Escondido, CA, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 after a battle with Alzheimer’s.
Louise was born on April 27, 1932 to Samuel and Pauline (Horowitz) Belsky in New York, NY.
After graduating from Hunter College High School she went on to graduate from Brooklyn College and receive a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude with honors in English.
Shortly after graduation she met Harold Green, and they wed in 1953, going on to have one son, Douglas Jonathan Green.
After teaching for several years, and attending the theatre & traveling with Harold, Louise spent her golden years in her beautiful home in the Emerald Heights community. There, she enjoyed reading, cooking, spending time with close friends and neighbors, and playing mahjong.
Louise was predeceased by her husband, Harold, and son, Douglas.
There will be a funeral service held graveside at 1:00 pm, November 22, 2021 at El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121.
