I met lou 12 years ago when we moved to SD from NY. He noticed the Chai i wore and asked which synagogue we belonged to. We had just arrived, so Lou had a lot to teach us! I'll always remember him for his friendliness and strong personality. Although we didn't agree, politically, discussions ( and long e-mails) were very lively, and sometimes heated. All our best to Joanne; he'll be sorely missed in the community.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lou 20 years ago. He was a client of the San Francisco branch of the ad agency I worked at. He relocated to San Diego and used the same agency where we met and instantly became friends. He always had a smile and a good story to tell. My heart goes out to Joanne, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Godspeed my friend.

Best boss ever! I relocated from San Diego to the Bay Area just to be able to work with and learn from Lou. My prayers for Joanne in her loss.

Cynthia and I knew Louis from his interest in dog agility. He and Joanna love their dogs. It was one of the many things that filled Louis' life with happiness. The last time we saw Louis was in July when he brought his newest Border Collie puppy to a dog event. We will miss him.

Much love,
Dan and Cynthia Roy
