Livia Krancberg

Livia Krancberg was born October 13th, 1919, one year after the end of WW1 – the war to end all wars – only to end up living through an even more horrific war 25 years later. A Holocaust survivor who endured the unspeakable in Auschwitz, Ravensbruck and Neustadt-Glewe, she emerged from that experience to become a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a published author, a produced playwright, and a public speaker. Her compelling presentations about her Holocaust experience, spanning nearly three decades of her life, became the social conscience for the younger generations, educating and reminding them of what they must never forget in order to preserve humanity in their own future.
