Obituary for Josi Steinberg (Zebkowitz)
Josephine “Josi” Steinberg passed away at her home peacefully, surrounded by family on April 5th 2020. Josi fought the good fight, but lost the battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her parents, Judith and Zigmund Zebkowitz, and her in-laws, Henry Steinberg and Frances Sokolovsky.
Josi is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert “Bob” Steinberg, her children, Jodee Steinberg (Glen Cotten) and Adam Steinberg (Nicole), her siblings Sophie Doman, Barry Zebkowitz (Toni), and sister in law Beth Steinberg Winter (Gary). Josi felt so blessed to have two awesome grandchildren that she was very proud of, Tyler Steinberg and Brooke Cotten.
At Josi’s request there will be no funeral service. Arrangements are being made through Am Israel. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Hadassah Hospital Israel, for breast cancer research or the charity of your choice.
