I am a native of Decatur, IL. My mom took me to Appelbaum's Store regularly and always at back-to-school time when we got my new clothes for the school year. This was early 60's. Dad got his shirts and things there too. Amazing time. I remember Harry and "Teedy" well all these years later. RIP dear lady.

I met Teedy through JFS and Brandeis. I cannot imagine anyone more loving or kind. I see her smile as I write this and remember seeing her with Irv on so many occasions.
Truly, her memory shall serve as a blessing.
