Obituary for Arthur M. Goldfarb

Arthur Martin Goldfarb, 91, passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2021. Born November 30, 1929, Arthur grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. After graduating from Cleveland Heights High, Arthur joined the army and served in the Korean War.
He met his wife, Bernice, in Detroit, Michigan and they married on March 20, 1955. He worked at the Post Office and Michigan Consolidated Gas Company in Detroit. The family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1969, where Arthur worked as a mail carrier in Sun City until his retirement. After Bernice's passing in 2001, Arthur moved to San Diego, California.

Arthur loved being around family and friends, seeing movies, watching baseball and traveling. He is survived by his daughter, Sheryl Rowling (William), son, Saul Goldfarb (Raqueza), grandsons Joseph Rowling, Jeffrey Rowling (Maritza), and Joseph Goldfarb, sister Diane Henkin and brother Leonard Goldfarb (Bonnie). He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Phyllis Tabak.

Arthur will be remembered as a kind, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Services will be held at El Camino Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 1 pm.
