Philip Steven better known to most of us at “Phil” Cohen was born on May 4th 1955 to Marvin and Shirley Cohen in Los Angeles, California. As an only child who moved around a lot, Phil found his true sense of home and family while attending the Army Navy Academy High School in Carlsbad. He attended UC Riverside before transferring to UC San Diego, joining a select few to study a new brand new field, Computer Science. He is survived by three daughters and 3.5 grandchildren, so far 3 precious granddaughters and one surprise on the way.
He loved music and nature, but most of all he loved cultivating unique and individual relationships with his girls and his large network of friends.
