Life Story for Busya Nayerman (Gelman)

Born in an Ukranian Jewish Shtettle Krizshopol on Dec 18, 1926 - her youth was mired with war and famine. Yet Busya grew up with an incredible spirit - joyful, musical and determined. Upon moving to Moscow, she excelled in both academically and professionally. In fact, Busya became such an impactful and inspiring teacher, that former students continued to call and wish her a happy birthday – until her very last. But most of all, she will be remembered for being a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her warmth, her songs (and her cooking) were the pillar of our family – and will be forever in our hearts.
