My life was richer for having known Jeff. I loved teasing him about Jason Werth and sending him the Werth garden gnome. His article on Puerto Rico and baseball was amazingly good and I'm sorry he never felt moved to write a book on the topic. Most of all I'm so happy that he brought such joy to the life of my oldest and dearest friend Norah. Thank you Jeff, my friend.
